Judge Randy T. Rogers
Judge Randy T. Rogers has served as the Probate Judge of Butler County, Ohio since February 1, 1995. From 1996 through 2000, Judge Rogers also served as Butler County's first Drug Court Judge.
Born in 1951, Judge Rogers is a 1976 graduate of the University of Cincinnati's College of Law where he earned a Juris Doctor Degree and is a 1973 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business where he earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics.
Judge Rogers is an active member of the Ohio Association of Probate Judges (OAPJ) and has served as that organization's Treasurer since 1997. Since 1995 Judge Rogers has coordinated the OAPJ's Annual Probate Clerk's Seminar at which he has frequently served as a lecturer on probate law and procedure. For his efforts Judge Rogers has been a multiple winner of the OAPJ Meritorious Service Award. He is also a member of the National College of Probate Judges, the American Judicature Society, the Ohio Judicial Conference, the Ohio and Butler County Bar Associations, the U.S. Supreme Court Historical Society and a number of other organizations.
Judge Rogers has lectured on the law, the legal system, and the administration of justice on behalf of the Ohio Judicial College, the National Drug Court Institute, the Police Training Institute, the Butler County Bar Association and many other organizations. He is a past recipient of the Butler County Mental Health Board's Distinguished Service Award and the Butler County Alcohol and Addiction Services Board's Community Service Award.
